Terms of Service

By commissioning me you agree/sign off to my TOS regardless if you have read it or not. You are required to credit me when using my work in posts, websites, online, in public etc. You may not sell nor exchange my art in any form, physical or digital, prints or NFT’s under any circumstances. You may not use my work in any published material, free or paywalled, unless previously discussed. You may not resell at any online or in person marketplaces. You may not use my work to train AI, and or modify my work with AI. In addition, any art I create is my own and I retain the rights to use and monetize my work in any way I choose{Excluding the character designs if they are not my own designs}. This includes advertisement/marketing, published materials, or any other merchandise.You may not alter or change my work. This includes colouring in line art, rendering, using a sketch to create your own line work etc.CREDIT IS REQUIRED!This is nonnegotiable, and will result in a black listing from further commissions, and possible legal action. If the piece is displayed in public for non-selling, my name must be easily accessible and legible to onlookers, even if we have previously discussed a small rights transfer. I reserve the right to my work and the ability to post my work under my name and use it as an example and as advertisement for future commissions {you will own the original piece and I will not sell prints/copies/duplicates of the piece, unless otherwise talked about. Landscape paintings, things that have no personal ties{I.E Characters, pets, people, etc} will be exempt from this}Process and paymentPlease note that pieces may take a few weeks or 2-3 months to complete from the start time, please be patient and give me time to complete your commission. I will make sure to keep you updated on turn around time and any delays.My method of payment is PayPal and CAD only, as exchange rates right now are crazy. I take 50% of payment upfront after the commission is discussed in full, you may receive concept sketches and colour blocking before I receive payment. Please do not send full payment right away, for your safety and mine. You will be updated and sent progress pictures throughout the duration of the process unless otherwise stated. If for some reason I become unable to finish your piece, you will be issued half of the original 50% payment back, as well as any additional payments sent.If you choose to back out of a piece last minute, I cannot refund you the 50% deposit. If you choose to downgrade your commission, I cannot provide refunds for the 50% of payment, though you will not be required to pay the original price in full.Payment plans can be discussed for larger pieces {$300+}, though I will always require 50% of payment upfront. This method is not preferred, however I understand getting into a tough spot financially.Please make sure you clarify any changes to be made to position, colouring, etc, before I begin on line art or rendering, this especially applies to painting projects, as once I’ve begun rendering it becomes difficult to change some things.Unless you are requesting a custom design, please have a clear, semi-detailed reference sheet for me to work with. Make sure to note anything you want extra visible or defined before I begin. I enjoy having a character's personality to work with for a piece, as it helps with positioning and making the piece look more coherent, though this is not required.If you are commissioning a custom design/reference sheet, please make sure to give me some details about the inspiration, colours and themes you’d like.
